National Architecture for Digital Services

The National Architecture for Digital Services will be a compatible infrastructure facilitating information transfer between organisations and services.The programme involves creating a national data exchange layer, the shared service views required by citizens, companies and authorities, a new national e-identification model and national solutions for the administration of roles and authorisations for organisations and individuals.

The purpose of the programme is:

  • to simplify and facilitate transactions by citizens, companies and organisations with the authorities and to improve security
  • to promote openness in public administration and to improve the quality of public services
  • to enable cost-efficiency in online services
  • to improve shared use of information and the compatibility of information systems
  • to promote corporate opportunities for leveraging public administration databases and services
  • to support the national economy by making public administration more efficient and by creating new business opportunities in the private sector
