Minister Stubb meets key representatives of international economic affairs
Minister of Finance Alexander Stubb will meet the German Minister of Finance Wolfgang Schäuble in Berlin on Tuesday 9 June. Minister Stubb will meet several influential representatives of economic affairs in June. The discussions will focus, among other things, on the economic development of Finland and the eurozone and the Economic Adjustment Programme of Greece.
On Tuesday 9 June, Stubb will travel to Berlin, where he will first meet the German Minister of Finance Wolfgang Schäuble. After that Stubb will have lunch with Gunther Krichbaum, who is the Chairman of the Bundestag’s Committee on the Affairs of the European Union.
In the afternoon, the Minister will participate in a panel discussion on free trade, innovations and growth at the Wirtschaftstag event (Economic forum). The other panelists will be Minister Schäuble, Professor A. Michael Spence, the Nobel Laureate, and former President of the World Bank Robert B. Zoellick.

From 11 to 13 June, Stubb will attend the Bilderberg Group's conference in Austria. Every year, 120 to 150 political leaders and experts from industry, the media and academia are invited to take part in the conference. The key topics will be, among other things, the economic situation in Europe and other current issues.
The Eurogroup will discuss Greece
On Thursday 18 June, Stubb will take part in the Eurogroup meeting in Luxembourg. The Eurogroup is an informal body in which finance ministers from the euro area discuss matters related to the euro. The discussions will focus, among other things, on the Economic Adjustment Programme of Greece.
On Friday 19 June, the finance ministers of all EU Member States will convene for the Economic and Financial Affairs Council (Ecofin) in Luxembourg. One of the matters on the agenda will be topical issues related to the financial markets.
On Thursday 25 June, Stubb will visit Brussels and meet, among others, European Commission Vice-President on Euro & Social Dialogue Valdis Dombrovskis. On the same day, Minister Stubb will take part in the European People's Party (EPP) summit meeting
