Finnish Customs collects statutory duties, taxes and charges on imported goods and maritime traffic and supervises customs control on traffic in and out of Finland.
Digital and Population Data Services Agency (The Finnish Digital Agency)
The Digital and Population Data Services Agency promotes the digitalisation of society, secures the availability of data, and provides services for the life events of its customers. The Digital and Population Data Services Agency agency launched on 1 January 2020 with the merging of the Population Register Centre, the Local Register Offices and the Steering and Development Unit for the Local Register Offices, which operates at the Regional State Administrative Agency of Eastern Finland.
Financial Stability Authority
Financial Stability Authority protects depositors and taxpayers from the effect and expenses of financial crises. It also prevents financial crises and promotes ball-in as part of the Single Resolution Mechanism. Furthermore, it is responsible for the the Finnis deposit guarantee system.
Government ICT Centre Valtori
Government ICT Centre Valtori began operations on 1 March 2014. The ICT Service Centre's role is to produce and develop basic IT and information system services for government offices and agencies as well as eGovernment support services.
VATT Institute for Economic Research
The VATT Institute for Economic Research is an expert organisation in applied economics research in the administrative branch of the Ministry of Finance. VATT assesses the impact of policy measures on individuals, households and businesses by making use of extensive registry data and statistical methods. VATT also provides expert support for the preparatory work for decision-making and the assessment of economic policies.

Regional State Administrative Agencies (AVI) started operating on 1 January 2010.
Shared Services Center of State Government
Shared service centre for financial administration and human resources management started operating on 1 January 2010.
Statistics Finland is a central administrative agency whose duties include the compiling and publishing of statistics on Finnish society, supervising and developing work in the field of statistics and contributing to statistical work at EU level.
State Treasury is a multiple service bureau run on the principles of management by results. Its responsibilities include intra-government financial administration, insurance, military injuries and other veteran affairs, and development of steering systems for central government agencies.
The Tax Administration attends to taxation within its own purview. The Tax Administration collects approximately two-thirds of all taxes and tax-like payments in Finland.
