The Coalition of Finance Ministers for Climate Action will discuss financing the green transition and strengthening the role of finance ministries in climate work this Friday in Washington. The ministers will publish a practical guide to help ministries implement climate measures.

The treaty will eliminate double taxation with respect to income taxes and prevent tax evasion and avoidance. The treaty was signed on 4 April by Finnish Minister of Finance Annika Saarikko and French Ambassador Agnès Cukierman.

The Finnish economy will return to growth at the end of the year following a mild recession, barring new surprises. However, the general government deficit will grow as rising prices begin to be reflected in general government expenditure according to the economic survey published by the Ministry of Finance on 23 March.
