The Coalition of Finance Ministers for Climate Action brings together fiscal and economic poli-cymakers from around the world and seeks to ensure fiscal and economic planning is part of the global response to climate change.

The Ministry of Finance establishes a working group to develop the assessment of the macroeconomic impacts related to climate change mitigation and adaptation, as well as the green transition. The work will be carried out in cooperation with the relevant ministries, the research community in the field, and the statistical authorities.

16.9.2024 | The Ministry of Finance is requesting comments on a bill on a tax credit for large investments aimed at building a climate-neutral economy. The Government decided on the preparation of the tax credit as part of the Government’s growth package in its spending limits session last spring.

The main themes for the week of meetings are the impact of the conflict in the Middle East on the global economy and creating jobs and growth in developing economies.
