In the impact assessment, project managers assessed the results and impact of their projects and discussed how their projects contributed to implementing the strategy for the prevention of the shadow economy and economic crime. In addition, actions recommended during the projects and any new proposed actions were reported. These were reported by 33 projects.

The Ministry of Finance establishes a working group to develop the assessment of the macroeconomic impacts related to climate change mitigation and adaptation, as well as the green transition. The work will be carried out in cooperation with the relevant ministries, the research community in the field, and the statistical authorities.

21.5.2024 | In 2020–2023, more than 50 projects tackling the shadow economy and economic crime were carried out in Finland. They succeeded in preventing abuses, promoting healthy competition between companies and supporting a fair labour market by improving the transparency and openness of business activities, for example.

28.1.2016 | Minister of Finance Alexander Stubb considers the OECD's assessment of Finland’s economy to be apposite and hopes that the recommendations will be taken seriously. Like the OECD, Stubb is concerned about Finland’s comparatively low employment rate which, according to the OECD’s analysis, stems from an inflexible labour market, incentive traps and labour skills. The Minister commented on the OECD’s Economic Survey of Finland at a launch event held in Helsinki today.
